Wooden pressure board

The pressure board , also known as the pressure plate, consists of a wooden handle and a wooden board and is used in the bed to compact the soil after sowing.

After the various seeds have been sown, the pressure board is used to press and connect the seeds to the ground. After sowing, press the potting soil evenly and then carefully pour on it. Pay particular attention to the seed coverage of the plant species sown, see light germinator and dark germinator .

Another use is in clay brick production, e.g. B. in Africa instead.
