Animals On Wheels
Animals On Wheels (actually Andrew Coleman ) is a British musician.
Since 1994 he has been producing electronic music after failed attempts to establish a foothold with several musicians as a band. At first he worked with a used sampler and an Atari, later with a PC and multi-track recorder .
He released his first album Designs & Mistakes on the British downbeat label Ninja Tune . It is largely based on manipulated breakbeats and numerous samplings.
Coleman took his inspiration for the second album Nuvol I Cadira from the Catalan artist Antoni Tàpies . Nuvol i Cadira literally means cloud and chair , and it describes one of his sculptures on the building of the Tàpies Foundation in Barcelona.
