Anna, Asia and me. 250 days on the road

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anna, Asia and me. A travel documentary by Svetlana Bogdanova is 250 days on the road . Svetlana and her eight-year-old daughter Anna are giving up their home and comfortable life in Berlin , selling most of their household and starting a journey into the unknown together. Only what is really necessary is included - the two only set off with hand luggage. With a one-way ticket, you end up in Malaysia with no plan or idea of where to go next.

Mother and daughter spent 250 days as a couple in Southeast Asia . In doing so, they left the well-trodden tourist paths and immersed themselves in local life, got to know the culture and everyday life of the respective country and made new friends. In the first part of the film, the two explore Malaysia and wander through Indonesian islands. In the second and third part you travel through Myanmar , Thailand , Laos , Singapore and Maldives .

It's a very authentic film. The “mother-daughter team” only documents what happens on the trip. Little Anna worked hard on the film production, drew all the cards, documented the whole trip in drawings and even had to take over the camera work from time to time.
