Anna Sarfatti

Anna Sarfatti (* 1950 in Florence ) is an Italian teacher, children's book author and translator.

Sarfatti first worked as a kindergarten teacher, now she is a primary school teacher. She is the main translator of Dr. Seuss ' into Italian. She also writes children's books on the history of modern Italy and its constitution. In her book Quante tante donne she uses rhymes to question gender roles . Together with her brother, the historian Michele Sarfatti , she wrote a story about a dog who, in search of its “master”, experiences events in the Resistance .
