Anne Elizabeth Moore
Anne Elizabeth Moore (* around 1971) is an American author, editor and artist.
Life
Moore received her university education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago , where she teaches Visual and Critical Studies.
Moore is best known for her books Body Horror: Capitalism, Fear, Misogyny, Jokes (2017), Threadbare: Clothes, Sex, and Trafficking (2016), Unmarketable: Brandalism, Copyfighting, Mocketing and the Erosion of Integrity (2007) and Hey Kidz, Buy This Book: A Radical Primer on Corporate and Governmental Propaganda and Artistic Activism for Short People (2004). In addition, Moore has particularly through their work in the critical Comic - Journalism excelled. Moore's center of life is in Detroit , where she lives as a laureate of the Write a house program.
Moore's writing has appeared in a variety of publications including The New York Times Magazine, USA Today, The Rumpus, Time, Bitch, Forbes, Women's E-News, the Guardian, and Entertainment Weekly. and Columbia College's Center for Book & Paper Arts presented a 2009 retrospective of Moore's art work in zine format.
Moore was the editor of the first edition of Houghton Mifflin's Best American Comics in 2016 , and was co-publisher and editor-in-chief of Punk Planet.
