Count Anselm von Nagoldgau († December 25th around 1087 ) was a relative of the Count Palatine of Tübingen and one of the founders of the Blaubeuren monastery .

family

He was married to Bertha or Berchta († December 26th), who probably did not survive her husband, or only survived by a day, since she is no longer mentioned in the history of the Blaubeuren monastery foundation after his death. They had the children Heinrich († February 28, 1103) and Hugo († around 1103).

It is believed that the county that the House of Tübingen owned at that time was divided between two brothers. Anselm received the Nagoldgau , Hugo received the lower districts of Ammertal and Schönbuch , while the third brother Sigibot had the allodial possessions , especially in the area of Blaubeuren.
