Antanas Abrutis
Antanas Abrutis (* 1969 in Panotėniai , Skuodas district ) is a Lithuanian strength athlete ( powerlifting ) and strongman .
Life
From 1997 to 1999 Antanas Abrutis worked as a trainer ( athletic gymnastics ) in the club "Mažeikių švyturys" in the northern Lithuanian city of Mažeikiai . In 2001 he became a champion at the National Strongman Championship of Lithuania. In 2005 he became champion in Wexford and took 3rd place in Minsk at the World Strongman Cup (by WSCF ). In 2011 he won the WSF World Cup Riga in Latvia . In May 2017 he was runner-up in the cane pull ( Mas Wrestling ) in Almaty ( Kazakhstan ).
