Anthony Reimer

Anthony "Tony" Reimer is an American composer and music teacher.

Reimer began his musical career as an orchestral horn player. Since 1990 he has worked as a sound designer and composer in residence at various theaters. He studied composition at Ball State University until 2005 and computer music and new media at Northern Illinois University until 2008 , where he has also taught sound design since 2007.

In addition to numerous theatrical music, Reimer composed electroacoustic and instrumental works and worked on a number of multimedia projects. His compositions have been played in theatrical performances at festivals in the USA, Greece, Germany, Russia and various South American countries. For his theater work, he has been nominated several times for the Carbonell Award , which he received in 2002 and 2004.
