antifa. Magazine for anti-fascist politics and culture is published by the Federal Committee of the Association of Those Persecuted by the Nazi Regime - Association of Antifascists (VVN-BdA) and sees itself as an anti-fascist magazine . It appears every two months in Berlin and is sold nationwide.

The magazine was published from 1975 to 1989 under the title Der Antifaschistische Resistance Fighter and was published monthly by the central management of the Committee of Antifascist Resistance Fighters of the GDR . The paper had previously appeared as a bulletin of the Committee of Antifascist Resistance Fighters in the German Democratic Republic . The magazine has been published under the title antifa since 1990 ; the magazine Antifa Rundschau went to 1990 antifa over.

The magazine reports on German and international political events and provides comments, arguments, analyzes, interviews and portraits as well as the pros and cons of controversial issues in current affairs. It provides information about history and memorial work as well as facts and backgrounds on the subject of neo-fascism. So-called “special” pages appear regularly on key topics and theoretical discussions of historically significant events. As a member magazine of the VVN-BdA, it reports on the work of the association. An extensive cultural section provides information about new releases of anti-fascist literature on the book market and offers reviews of films and exhibitions.

The guest authors regularly include members of the Left Party in the Bundestag and various state parliaments, as well as personalities from the culture and science of the Federal Republic of Germany who are not affiliated to the party .

The regional supplements appear as a supplement to antifa . These are available digitally as PDF on the website of the regional association of the VVN-BdA North Rhine-Westphalia .
