Antoine Laurain
Antoine Laurain (* 1972 in Paris ) is a French writer .
Life
Before starting his writing career, he worked as a screenwriter and antique dealer in Paris. In 2007 he published his first novel Ailleurs si j'y suis (German: The picture from my dream). He made his international breakthrough with love with two strangers . Laurain's novels have been translated into 14 languages and some were made into films. In his works he weaves fantastic elements into the everyday life of his characters, which typically allow them to change their lives. B. in The President's Hat by wearing President Mitterand's hat . In A Drop of Happiness , residents of a Parisian apartment building are transported back to Paris that year by enjoying a bottle of wine from 1954.
