Antonians

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Antonians were a religious group around the Swiss miracle doctor Anton Unterstährer (1759-1824). Even in its weddings the group never had more than a few hundred members and was in conflict with the authorities and the churches due to the teachings of Unternährer. In society she was avoided due to her supposedly immoral way of life, which included the community of goods and women as well as the constant carrying of weapons.
