Jérémy Clément (born August 26, 1984 in Béziers ) is a French football player . He is currently under contract with the French second division club AS Nancy .

Jérémy Clément, whose family comes from Rives , Isère , began his career as a professional footballer with the Ligue 1 club and series champion Olympique Lyon . After 3 championship titles and a reserve role, he was drawn to his ex-trainer from Lyon times, Paul Le Guen and he signed a contract with the traditional Scottish club Glasgow Rangers for the transfer of 1.1 million pounds .

Because he quickly became a regular there, the former French U-21 international aroused interest in Paris Saint-Germain in January 2007 , where he finally signed a contract.

In the summer of 2011, Clément moved to league rivals AS Saint-Étienne , where he signed a three-year contract. In total, he remained loyal to AS Saint-Étienne for six years. On August 15, 2017, Clément joined the second division AS Nancy, the contract term was one year.
