Sylvain Marveaux (born April 15, 1986 in Vannes , Morbihan Department ) is a French football player.

Career

Sylvain Marveaux started playing football at AS Ménimur in 1992 . In 1999 he moved to the youth team at OC Vannes , before moving to the youth team at Stade Rennes in 2001 .

He made his professional debut on August 5, 2006, when he was in the starting eleven in a 2-1 draw against Lille OSC . However, he was subsequently denied a regular place. Although he came to 28 missions and five hits, but he only played twice from start to finish. In the following season he was denied a regular place. In 24 missions he only played three times from the beginning to the end of the game. At least he was able to celebrate his first appearances in the European Cup (Stade Rennes played in the 2007/08 UEFA Cup that season ).

In the 2015/16 season he played on loan for EA Guingamp in Ligue 1 .

In 2016 he moved back to France to FC Lorient . In January 2019 he was awarded to the second division AS Nancy until the end of the season .

National team

Marveaux has been playing for France 's national U-teams since the U-16s . He made his debut for the U-21s on November 14, 2006, when he played over 90 minutes in the 2: 4 defeat in Sweden . He made his last international match on August 19, 2008, when he was in the starting eleven in the 2-2 draw against Slovakia, but was replaced by Dimitri Payet after eight minutes . In total, he can look back on eleven missions (4 goals) for the U-21s.
