Guy Rolland N'Dy Assembé (born February 28, 1986 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football goalkeeper who has been under contract with AS Nancy since summer 2011 .

Career

Guy N'Dy Assembé was born in the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé, but came to Nantes in France at a young age . The young goalkeeper, who has strong reflexes and good control of the penalty area, was discovered at an amateur club in the city and trained at FC Nantes . There he soon made his Ligue 2 debut , but was considered a substitute goalkeeper. At the beginning of the 2009/10 season he was signed on loan from Valenciennes FC to replace the injury-related failure of the goalkeeper, which he was used almost 20 times in the French Ligue 1 . In 2011 he moved to AS Nancy , who loaned him to EA Guingamp for a season after relegation from the French first division in the summer of 2013 .

National team

In the African Cup in 2010 , he was first in the national team of Cameroon called, but denied only in preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa its first international match. At the World Cup, he was not used.
