Antonio Violetta

Antonio Violetta (* 1953 in Crotone ) is an Italian sculptor.

life and work

Antonio Violetta studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna . In 1982 he took part in documenta 7 in Kassel and exhibited the works Moments of Stone and The work of heaven . He showed Moonstones and Pages in 1986 at the 42nd Venice Biennale in Venice. In 1985 Antonio Violetta had a solo exhibition at the Frankfurter Kunstverein and in 1989 he took part in “Prospect 89” at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt .
