The apple thief was a monument in Königsberg that stood on the Evabrunnen in the old town market.

history

The bronze apple thief was the work of Stanislaus Cauer . The bronze sculpture depicted a girl with an apple in her hand. The work was created in 1906 and was first placed on the horse market, but later in front of the Old Town Hall . Cauer's daughter Clara is said to have acted as a model for the sculpture. Nothing is known about the whereabouts after 1945.
