Apollonopolis
Apollonopolis or Apollinopolis (Greek Ἀπόλλωνος πόλις Apollonos polis ) is the name of several places in ancient Egypt:
- Apollonopolis Magna , today's Edfu
- Apollonopolis Parva , also Diocletianopolis , today Qus (city)
- Apollonopolis Heptakomias Mikra , today Kom Isfaht in Upper Egypt, between Tima and Assiut
- Apollonopolis or Apollonos Hydreium , a station on the road from Koptos to Berenice Troglodytica ( Berenike (Baranis) )
- Apollonopolis (Ethiopia) , place in eastern Ethiopia
