The Temple of Apollo in the park of Boitzenburg Castle was built in 1855 under the direction of the architect August Stüler . It is located at one of the lookout points in the castle park with a direct view of the main courtyard and the front of the castle. Today the building is often used for weddings.

history

Adolf Heinrich von Arnim-Boitzenburg placed the order for the construction of the octagonal, domed Apollo temple. This replaced the dilapidated previous building. There used to be a statue in the middle of the temple, which is said to be buried halfway intact in the mud of the small carp pond below the Temple of Apollo.
