Apport (occultism)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

By an apport , followers of the occult understand the appearance of objects out of nowhere or from another place, usually during a séance or during ghostly apparitions .

The opposite of a fetch is the asport , in which an object is supposed to suddenly disappear. Apport and asport are seen by those who believe that these phenomena exist as the two counterparts of teleportation ; However, it is considered a certain fact that teleportation above the particle level can in fact be ruled out.

In contrast, making objects appear and disappear has been part of the standard magic art repertoire for centuries .
