Under a Asport understand followers of the occult disappearance of an object, usually during a séance or haunting . Although the disappearance and appearance of objects is described as a real phenomenon in the relevant literature, it has often been shown that such an impression can be created relatively easily with the means of magic .

The opposite term apport is used to describe the sudden appearance of an object. Followers often assume that these two phenomena only occur together; however, the teleportation of objects above the particle level is scientifically unsustainable.
