Aprosdoketone
An aprosdoketone ( ancient Greek : ἀπροσδόκητον 'something unexpected') is a rhetorical figure that uses an unexpected, surprisingly applied, conspicuous word instead of an expected common expression. It can be seen as a kind of stylistic punch line. The use of the aprosdoketone is called aprosdokesis .
