Aquatic neozoa in Lake Constance

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aquatic neozoa in Lake Constance , or ANEBO for short , is a joint project that has been dealing with the introduction and spread of aquatic neozoa in Lake Constance since 2005 . The introduction of the neozoa occurs, for example, via inadequately cleaned and dried leisure boats.

The project investigates the changes in the ecosystem, in particular due to the Asian cupfish (genus Corbicula ) and the great humpback shrimp ( Dikerogammarus villosus ). This also includes the impact on fish stocks and fisheries, as well as shipping and tourism.
