Arab Union
Arab Union ( Arabic الاتحاد العربي, DMG al-Ittiḥād al-ʿarabī )
- a project of the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri as-Said (1943) for the unification of Iraq with Greater Syria (" Unity of the Fertile Crescent ")
- a project of the Syrian President Hashim Chalid al-Atassi (1949) for the unification of Syria with Iraq (" Unity of the Euphrates Valley ")
- the literal equivalent of the Iraqi-Jordanian Confederation of 1958, mostly referred to as the Arab Federation
- the proposal by Libya (1985) and Yemen (2003) to transform the Arab League into a union based on the European model, see Libyan-Arab-African Unification Projects
