Arachnes

Arachnes is an Italian power metal band that was formed around 1995 in Milan. It came about when the Caruso brothers, with Enzo Caruso as singer and Frank Caruso on guitar, decided to give up their hard rock project Firehouse and to found a new band with different influences that is more guitar-oriented.

With Arachnes, the Caruso brothers orientate themselves on various modern influences, such as Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Toto , Emerson, Lake and Palmer , but are also influenced by classical music such as that of Johann Sebastian Bach , Chopin or Béla Bartók .

First publications

The first step in her career began with her debut album "The Goddess Temple", which was released in 1997 by the Italian label Lucretia Records . A few years later the mini CD "Metamorphosis" followed, which was released under the Underground Symphony label. After the release of the "Metamorphosis" album, the band paused and changed the line-up a few times.

New line-up and parallel worlds

After a new drummer, Stefano Caironi, and a new bassist, Gabry Baroni, were found, the band looked for a new label to achieve success outside of Italy. They signed with Scarlet Records and started working on their album "Parallel Worlds". This album marks the beginning of their new style, which consists of riffs from Power Metal and Speed ​​Metal as well as choral singing and orchestral music.
