Working channel

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a working channel is referred to in Seefunk one (s) radio frequency (s) over which a coast station to the radio traffic unwinds after the contact to or from a ship station on a call channel was prepared. If the responsible coast station and its working channel are known, marine radio stations may also use the working channel to establish contact. If a coast station has several working channels, this only applies to the first working channel.
