Concentric circles - group 3

In the archaeological Eco Park Monte Tetón near the village of Tebra near Tomiño in Galicia, Spain, near the northern border of Portugal, are some of the most important petroglyphs in Europe. These prehistoric rock carvings on granite depict a wide range of different abstract and representational patterns, including animal and human images, as well as amazing combinations of concentric petroglyphs. The somewhat damaged 18 concentric rings, identified as “Group 3”, have a maximum diameter of 3.5 m and are among the largest rock carvings of this type in Europe.
