Argumenty nedeli ( Russian Аргументы недели , different spelling Аргументы неделі, German Arguments of the Week , formerly Argumenty i wremja ) is a Russian weekly newspaper.
The newspaper was founded in 2006 and has a circulation of 570,000 copies according to its own information. The editorial office is in Moscow and Andrei Uglanow is the editor-in-chief.
history
The newspaper was founded by former employees of the weekly Argumenty i Fakty . First it appeared under the title Argumenty i wremja (Аргументы и время). However, after the newspaper Argumenty i Fakty filed a lawsuit over similar names, the title was changed to Argumenty nedeli .
owner
The publisher of Argumenty nedeli is the company SWR-Media (СВР-Медиа), which in turn belongs to the SWR-Group (СВР-групп). According to the Kommersant newspaper, the SWR Group includes a construction company, a real estate company, an oil trading company and a car salon.
