Arica Motors was a Chilean automobile manufacturer based in Arica .

history

The company existed in the early 1960s without any specific data being documented. According to one source, the company only existed in 1962. Likewise, production may have lasted two or three years. According to another source, there is evidence that assembly may have taken place as early as 1959.

Suzuki models were not to return to Chile until 1976 as import vehicles through the Derco company.

Models

Only the Suzuki Suzulight was produced as a station wagon and as a delivery van. For the year 1962, 238 Suzulight TLs are recorded as a station wagon (150) and delivery van (88).
