The Arizona State Route 386 (short- AZ 386 ) is a state highway in the US state of Arizona . It was opened in 1967.

The State Route begins near the Kitt Peak National Observatory and ends at Arizona State Route 86 . The road is closed to public traffic from 4 p.m. until sunrise the next morning in order to prevent possible light disturbances that would hinder the operation of the observatory.
