Arnold van den Berge
Arnold van den Berge (* 14th century ; † before 1370 in Aachen ) was aldermen and mayor of the imperial city of Aachen .
Live and act
Arnold van den Berge was first mentioned in a document in 1350 as a member of the aldermen's chair in Aachen and was a year later on the city council. In 1364 he was elected mayor of the Free Imperial City of Aachen and, at the same time, a jury member of the Maas-Rhine Peace Alliance for the duration of the contract extension . A year later the city appointed him judge of the jury.
Arnold van den Berge was married to a certain Heilke, with whom he had at least three daughters. Since his wife is referred to as a widow in 1370, it can be assumed that Arnold van dem Berge died between 1365 and 1370.
