history

The Zowak inscription of Sarduri II describes the conquest of Arquqini. In his chronicle, Sarduri mentions victories over Arquqi, Kamani and Lueruni . The conquest probably took place towards the end of his life, Melikisvili puts it between 742 and 739, so after the defeat against Tiglat-pilesar III. and the loss of possessions on the Euphrates .

After the death of Sarduri, the conquests at Lake Sevan were probably lost again, as Rusa I, according to the inscription by Zovinar, again fought against Adaḫuni, Uelikuḫi, Lueruḫi and Arquqini.
