Artabad was a grain measure in Egypt and Persia . The Egyptian measure was also referred to as Ardeb and it corresponded
- 1 Artabad = 2880 Parisian cubic inches = 57 liters, i.e. 119 Viennese cups
The Persian measure was a bit bigger and there were
- 1 Artabad = 3286 Parisian cubic inches = 65.1 liters
- 1 Artabad = 8 Collothun = 25 Capichas = 50 Chenikas = 400 Sextarios = 65.238 liters
