Article 103 of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany

Article 103 of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany consists of three paragraphs in which three fundamental rights of justice are regulated.

Article 103
(1) Everyone has the right to be heard in court.
(2) An act can only be punished if the criminal liability was determined by law before the act was committed.
(3) No one may be punished more than once for the same act on the basis of general criminal laws.
