Artillery foot

The artillery foot , also Bavarian artillery foot, was next to the city foot a measure of length in Bavaria and Nuremberg . This foot resembled the Rhineland foot . The law was stipulated in a law of December 23, 1829.

  • 1 artillery foot = 12 inches (1 inch in 10 lines of 10 points)
  • 1 artillery foot = 129.83 Paris lines = 0.29287 meters

The city foot, also called just foot, was larger and had a length of 0.303975 meters.
