Asparges , also Danish asparagus potato , is an old Danish variety of potato .

description

The potato variety 'Asparges' has its origins in 1872, comes from Denmark and is one of the oldest potato varieties in this country. It is very similar to the French potato variety La Ratte . You can hardly tell the difference between the 'Asparges' and the La Ratte, but if you take a closer look, you notice that it has a different potato shape. When stored for a longer period of time, it gets shoots later than La Ratte, the number of shoots is also lower and the growth is shorter. The taste is fine and noble.
