Ruins of the Asseria

Asseria is an ancient city believed to have been built by the Illyrians in the 3rd century BC. Was founded. Later, when the Illyrians were defeated by the Romans , it was settled by the Romans. It is located a few kilometers from Benkovac ( Croatia ).
