Association d'Escrime RDP de Coree

The Association d'Escrime RDP de Coree is the national umbrella organization for fencing in North Korea and a member of the FIE . It is based in Pyongyang . According to the FIE website, there is currently neither a President nor a Secretary General.

history

The association was admitted to the FIE in 1968. Since then, however, no North Korean fencer has participated in the Olympic Games or World Championships. Since at least 2001 until today (as of 2014) no North Korean had a license from the FIE as a referee or active fencer.
