Asterism

Asterism (from Greek ἀστερισμός = group of stars, derived from ἀστήρ = star) stands for:

  • conspicuous star constellations that are not considered a separate constellation, see asterism (astronomy)
  • star-shaped light reflections in crystals in mineralogy, see asterism (mineralogy)
  • Literal translation of the English name Asterism for the character "⁂"
