Leoncito Astronomical Facility

The astronomical facility Leoncito (Spanish Complejo Astronómico El Leoncito , CASLEO, English Leoncito Astronomical Complex , IAU observatory code 829) is an observatory at an altitude of 2552 m in the El Leoncito National Park in Argentina (this national park is also used as another astronomical observation facility the Felix Aguilar Observatory ). The largest instrument, a 2.15-meter-diameter mirror telescope , is named after the initiator of the facility, Jorge Sahade. The facility also has a sub-millimeter solar telescope .
