Ata-Shurt ( Kyrgyz Атажурт ; Russian Ата-Журт ; in German  Vaterland ; other transcription Ata-Yurt ) is a national-conservative political party from Kyrgyzstan . It is currently (October 2010) headed by Kamchibek Tashiev .

It was founded by Rosa Otunbajewa on December 9, 2004, even before the tulip revolution , and is associated with the former Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev .

On October 6, 2010, four days before the 2010 parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan , the party's headquarters were occupied by protesters demanding that it be excluded from the elections. They also called for party members to be punished for the fatal shooting of demonstrators in April 2010 when the transitional government came to power.

After counting 84 percent of the vote, the party was just ahead of the Kyrgyz Social Democratic Party in the lead.
