Atlácatl

Atlácatl , Atlacatl or Ātlācatl ( Nahuatl "water-man": ātl "water", tlācatl "man") stands for:

  • a legendary hero and caciques of Cuzcatlan at the time of the Spanish conquest of today's El Salvador, see Ātlācatl
  • a special unit of the army of El Salvador in the 1980s responsible for some serious war crimes, see Batallón Atlácatl
