Aton Resources (until 2016 Alexander Nubia International ) is a Canadian gold mining company . Since 2007, two concessions have been explored in eastern Egypt .
The Hamama and Abu Marawat deposits are located near the Qina - Safaga highway . Hamama is a gold oxide capped VMS deposit similar to other occurrences on the Arab-Nubian Shield . Abu Marawat consists of gold-bearing quartz veins.
