Attestation service

An Attestation Service ( German  certification service ) is in the computer science a service , which the integrity of network elements and network nodes by trusted computing techniques such as Trusted Platform Modules ensures.

The attestation service enables system administrators , workflow management systems and orchestration services to check a node before workloads are submitted to it.

With Windows 10 , the Device Health Attestation (DHA) was introduced, which implements an attestation service. This means that not only servers but also end devices can be checked.
