The Sultanate of Audhali ( Arabic سلطنة العوذلي, DMG Salṭanat al-ʿAwḏalī ) was a state within the South Arab Federation from 1963 after it had belonged to the Federation of the United Arab Emirates of the South for a short time (from 1959) . Its capital was Zarah. The last sultan was Salih ibn al-Husain ibn Jabil al-Audhali . The sultanate became part of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen in 1967 . The area is now part of the Republic of Yemen .
