Auditor Camerae

The fourth official in the Apostolic Chamber (Camera apostolica) is named in the Vatican as the Auditor Camerae ( Latin : Auditor - listener ; Camera - vault ) . He is a respected prelate with judicial power over those belonging to the papal court as well as over foreigners in Rome; In addition, he is responsible for appellation matters within the Papal States.
