It is home to the National Orchestra of Spain, the National Choir of Spain and the National Youth Orchestra of Spain.
Symphonic halls
The Auditorio Nacional de Música has two halls, one for symphonic and one for chamber music, with a capacity of 2324 and 692 seats. In addition, it has a hall of the choir, which offers space for 208 spectators as an alternative room. There is also an auditorium, a string room for rehearsals, fourteen individual rooms for the preparation of the soloists, a recording studio, a press room, two cafeterias and a souvenir shop.
Symphonic hall
The symphonic hall is equipped with an organ that has 5700 pipes . The areas intended for the choir can be occupied by the audience in the case of purely symphonic works, which increases the capacity of the hall. There is space for up to 130 people on the stage.
Chamber music hall
In the chamber music hall, the stage is completely flat with an area of 100 m², which is even suitable for the performance of symphonies by Haydn or Mozart.
