Audren is a French given name of Breton origin. The first name is of Celtic origin and probably comes from the Breton words "aod" (river), and "roen", (royal), but it can also be derived from the combination of the Welsh words "alto" (hill, cliff) and the Let the form "rigo" (king) be derived.
