Augier was founded in 1643 by the wine merchant Philippe Augier, making it the oldest cognac house. The cognach maker has its production facility in the city of the same name, Cognac ( France ). The manufacturer currently has three products in its range. Each product can be assigned to a wine region, a grape variety and a distillation process. Traditional distillation processes enhance the characteristics of the original eaux-de-vie .
