Augusto Delacroix was a Uruguayan soccer player .

Career

Delacroix was a member of the Peñarols squad in the Primera División from 1917 to 1921 and again in 1927 . In this phase the Aurinegros were Uruguayan champions in 1918 and 1921. His club won numerous other trophies during that period. These included the triumph at the Copa Albion in 1917 and 1921, as well as the Copa de Honor and the Copa de Honor Internacional each in 1918. The Copa Montevideo and the Copa Tortoni each in 1918, the Copa Baltasar Brum in 1921 and in 1927 the Copa Cristal de Roca , Copa Eintracht , Copa Papel Job , Copa Stars , Copa Ministerio de Salud Pública and the Copa Ricardo Pittaluga were decided in their own favor.

In 1916, an Alberto Delacroix is also listed as a member of the Aurinegros cadre . Possibly this is simply a typo and not another player with the same surname.
