Aurelius Flaccus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aurelius Flaccus (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma proves that Flaccus was commander of the Ala I Noricorum civium Romanorum around 160/167 , which at that time was stationed in the province of Germania Inferior ; the leadership of this unit may have been his third military command within the Tres militiae .
